Tagxedo - Blog Tags Meet Glam

Tagxedo is similar to Wordle by that they are both word clouds. The big difference is that the words are typed into Wordle and for Tagxedo can come from published websites/search pages/blogs/rss/del.icio.us/Twitter. The more the words appear the larger the text is. Wordle has various layouts but what makes Tagxedo really cool is that you can choose the shape you want the words to appear.

I love Tagxedo! I can't wait to have time to play around with it. I will definitely use this. What a great find! I love Wordle, but being able to choose a shape is so much fun. This is the type of thing that makes it even more appealing and motivating for students. I have used Wordle to make content-related "mini posters" to put up on bulletin boards. It is a quick, effective, relative way to decorate your classroom.

I never thought of using Wordle to create posters! Awesome idea! Perhaps I may make an appointment at the production center.
