Prezi replaces PowerPoint?

Prezi is the new way of presenting information. My definition of Prezi is PowerPoint on a roller coaster! Videos, text, pictures, links, and documents can be easily put on one page that rotates and moves in any directions you want. RJ Tarr has done a wonderful job in creating a quick start guide that helped me along the way. Educators and students can join for free and if they use a student/teacher email, the account can hold 500 MB versus 100 MB for non educators/students.

Prezi looked pretty easy to create but I will admit it took a while to get in the groove of things. My greatest obstacle was getting used to what they call the zebra. Depending on the direction of the stripes you can zoom, rotate,  and move.

The Prezi I created will be used for back to school night. My favorite part about Prezi was the easy of sharing documents such as the PDF document I had from Anne Arundel County that explains the grading process. It may not be as cool as other Prezi's I have seen but it's still pretty neat-o!
