Prezi Educational Uses

I'm big on Thinking Maps and Prezi can make it almost adventurous to share you're thinking. With the direction tool anything is possible.

For example, Prezi is really a flow map that shows sequence. Students could create a circle map using the circle tool and including information inside such as pictures, videos, and documents. However, I haven't quite figured out how to change font colors. So thats the only downfall to a Prezi Thinking Map.

I found a great example of a cause and a effect thinking map created by David Robinson.

Prezi can be used in various subject areas.

  • For example, students can create a Prezi to show understanding of a concept.
  • Teachers can use it to build background before beginning a new unit.
  • It can be used to quickly review a skill.
  • Or to inspire students such as this mind blowing Prezi by Adam Somlai-Fischer, a Prezi intern. (Who should have no problem getting a job anywhere!)
